How To Get Indented Listings On Google For Your Website Or Blog
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Gerald_Thomson]Gerald Thomson
Spend enough time online and you've probably run into websites that have multiple links on the same page below each other. These are called indented links and can be an excellent way to help increase traffic to your website. These indented or double listings happen when Google finds multiple results from the same website or blog. These results are then listed below each other with the more relevant listing being shown first.
So how do you get these indented listings for your site?
1. First you need a website or blog that already has a top ten ranking for the keyword or search term.
2. Once you have a page that has a top ten ranking you then want to create a second web page on that domain that links to the first page. Use the same keywords you used on the first page to optimize it, but use different content.
3. Link the two pages together using your keyword in the anchor text, it's recommended you use a contextual link that's in the the body of your text.
4. Now you want inbound links to your second page. Try to get those inbound links as high of quality as possible. If you want even more indented links simply repeat the steps for each page you want linked up to have multiple listings.
Why you want to do this is because if you have an indented link your site no produces 20 percent of the organic results when a user types in that keyword rather then the standard 10 percent. So it doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand that this means more traffic for you.
